On April 26th, coloring pages donned with an enlarged Foundation logo will be available for students at local schools, as well as for any child ages 4-14 to pick up at the New Haven Community Center. These will be due either back at the child’s school or at the New Haven Community Center by April 30th. Winners will be chosen from the entries by Foundation Board members and announced on May 7th via the Foundation’s social media channels and website. Prizes have been donated by New Haven Dairy Queen in the form of $10 gift cards.

The New Haven Community Foundation is excited to partner with local businesses and individuals to bring this art project that will cultivate community pride and interest. We would like to place at least 36 individualized bulldogs throughout the community. The bulldogs will be designed by local artists and their sponsors. They will range in taste and style from fine art to grand funk.
The New Haven Community Foundation Board has distributed its fall grant cycle funding to five organizations including: Power House Youth Center, Learn Resource Center, Out of a Jam Incorporated, The League for the Blind and Disabled, and First Baptist Church Food Ministry. In total, $5,000.00 was awarded.
