New Haven Community Foundation Grants Funding to Local Organizations for Fall Grant Cycle
The New Haven Community Foundation Board has distributed its fall grant cycle funding to five organizations including: Power House Youth Center, Learn Resource Center, Out of a Jam Incorporated, The League for the Blind and Disabled, and First Baptist Church Food Ministry. In total, $5,000.00 was awarded.
The mission of the New Haven Community Foundation, (in its fourth year,) is: “Enhancing life and investing in our future.”
Grant applications are considered if they meet their mission to improve the quality of life in New Haven, Indiana through charitable perpetuation of youth programs, art and cultural enrichment, community improvement, parks, recreation and education related to these purposes in the community. The Grant Review Committee reviewed each application submitted and proposed award amounts to the Board which then voted upon the matter.
There are some great organizations working on improving the lives of New Haven residents and we are excited to be able to support some of their efforts through this grant cycle.
